ELMSFORD, N.Y. (July 27, 2009) — The Met Area will be well represented at the 2o09 U.S. Senior Open Championship when play begins on Thursday, July 30 at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (July 23, 2009) – After shooting 78 in the second round of stroke play qualifying at the 62nd U.S. Junior Championship at Trump National-Bedminster, former MGA/MetLife Boys championCameron Wilson of Norwalk, Conn., was convinced he’d miss match play altogether. Now, he is in the quarterfinals, one of only eight players remaining in contention for the championship.
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (July 23, 2009) - Former MGA/MetLife Boys champion Cameron Wilson of Norwalk, Conn., advanced to the Round of 16 today at the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at Trump National-Bedminster in Bedminster, N.J. Wilson defeated Nicholas Austin of Midlothian, Va, 2 & 1. He will be joined in the Round of 16 by 13-year-old Jim Liu of Smithtown, N.Y., who dispatched Patrick Cantlay of Los Alamitos, Calif., 4 & 2.
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (July 22, 2009) - The Met Area contingent at the U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Girls’ Junior Championships at Trump National-Bedminster in Bedminster, N.J., continued their strong play in the first round of match play.

ELMSFORD N.Y. (July 20, 2009) – Proving once again the depth of junior golf talent in the Met Area, 18 local golfers ages 13-18 are competing in the U.S. Junior and U.S. Girls’ Junior Championships this week on both the Old and New courses at Trump National Golf Club-Bedminster in Bedminster, New Jersey. It is only the third time in the history of the two championships that they have been contested concurrently at the same facility.
ROSLYN HARBOR, N.Y.
