In the quest to learn as much as possible about how the Rules of Golf are maintained, debated, and changed, The Met Golfer decided to go straight to the source. Our goal was to convene a roundtable of Rules insiders – in many cases, the Rules are their job, or at the very least, their dominant hobby. The panelists:

The USGA awarded the MGA Foundation three program grants for 2010 to help support The First Tee of Metropolitan New York. A total of $35,000 will be used to help with the cost of golf instruction, golf course and driving range access, and transportation for participants. Since 1996, the USGA has provided nearly $1,000,000 in support of the many programs conducted by the MGA Foundation.

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (March 31, 2010) – Come join fellow young professionals on Thursday, April 8, as The First Tee of Met N.Y. Young Benefactor’s gather together for their first event of 2010. The event is set to be hosted by St. Andrews Restaurant in N.Y.C., and will feature many fantastic silent auction prizes ranging from rounds of golf to signed memorabilia by Arnold Palmer and other pro golfers.
