Become a Young Benefactor
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (March 31, 2010) – Come join fellow young professionals on Thursday, April 8, as The First Tee of Met N.Y. Young Benefactor’s gather together for their first event of 2010. The event is set to be hosted by St. Andrews Restaurant in N.Y.C., and will feature many fantastic silent auction prizes ranging from rounds of golf to signed memorabilia by Arnold Palmer and other pro golfers.
Created in 2009, the Young Benefactors is a network of active young professionals dedicated to the mission of The First Tee of Metropolitan New York. The group supports the First Tee Met N.Y. by conducting fundraising events and community and volunteer efforts to raise local awareness about the First Tee. 2010 events include an evening at St. Andrews Restaurant in N.Y.C., Chelsea Piers driving range, and during the PGA Tour’s Barclays tournament at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, N.J.
