ELMSFORD, N.Y. (May 16, 2014) - As the 114th U.S. Open quickly approaches, top Met Area players are one step closer to playing amongst the world's best players at Pinehurst. The MGA conducted four Local Qualifying Rounds in which professionals and amtaeurs alike competed for coveted qualifying positions. From there, the local qualifiers will play in a 36-hole Sectional Qualifying Round on June 2, deemed "golf's longest day."
