EAST MEADOW, N.Y. (July 9, 2015) – Four competitors, including defending champion Xander McDonald-Smith of Marine Park, opened the 68th MGA Public Links Championship with scores of 3-under 68 and now prepare for the final 18 holes this afternoon on Eisenhower Park’s Red Course.
ARMONK, N.Y. (July 7, 2015) – Brothers Luke and Michael Graboyes of Twin Brooks teamed up today to win the Gross Division of the MGA/MetLife Men’s Four-Ball Championship at The Whippoorwill Club in Armonk, N.Y.
The Graboyes team led the field of 41 two-man teams and finished with a score of 5-under 66 to take home the title. The father and son team of Tore and Bear Carlson of Bedford finished second with a 3-under 68.

in the lead after firing a new competitive Upper Course record with his 7-under 65. Troy’s round was bogey free and featured a stretch of four straight birdies on holes 11 through 14.

Patrick McCarthy of Garden City Golf Club earned medalist honors and ran away with the first qualifying spot, shooting an impressive 5-under 67, despite the physically demanding terrain during a hot afternoon.

Tyler Jaramillo of Seawane had the low round of the day, an even-par 71, and earned medalist honors.
