Longtime MGA Committeeman Jim Tingley Passes Away

September 18, 2009 – Jim Tingley, a longtime committeeman for both the MGA and LIGA and past member of the MGA Executive Committee passed away on September 16, he was 90. Tingley, who was a 52-year member of Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, N.Y., loved the game of golf and everything that went along with it. He was a five-time club champion at Nassau and more impressively, was the owner of 20 holes-in-one during his decades-long involvement with the game.
