ELMSFORD, N.Y. (June 9, 2011) – Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, N.Y., has been named the host site of the 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, scheduled to be played August 11-17. The historic club on Long Island will be hosting the event on the 100th anniversary of the club first hosting the championship in 1914.
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (June 8, 2011)–The entry deadline for the 94th Met Junior Championship, as well as the 43rd MGA/MetLife Boys Championship has been extended. All entries must be in by Thursday, June 9 at 5 p.m.
Qualifying rounds for both the Met Junior and MGA/MetLife Boys are set for the following sites:
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (June 7, 2011)–Although no Met Area players advanced from the MGA’s U.S. Open sectional qualifier at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, N.J., on June 6, two former MGA champions did advance out of their respective sectional sites.
