The Bradys shot a gross score of 73, and their combined handicap of 8 yielded them the winning score. They beat out 50 other father-son teams from across the Met Area.

(August 14, 2006) – William and Philip Asmundson from Stanwich finished with a five-under-par 65 today to outlast 57 other teams and win the 56th MGA Father & Son (Gross) Championship at Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale, N.Y. Kieran and Mark Duffy of Sleepy Hollow carded a two-under-par 68 to finish second in the 18-hole championship played under a Pinehurst scoring format.
