SUFFERN, N.Y. (July 16, 2015) - Brooke Nethercott  of eClub of Fairfield claimed the 18^th WMGA/MGA Women’s Public Links Championship at Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern, N.Y., on Thursday after defeating Taylor Lambrou of Lido Golf Course in a playoff.

At the conclusion of the 18-hole round, both Nethercott and Lambrou had matching scores of 3-over 75, forcing a playoff to determine the champion. The playoff was contested on the first hole, where Nethercott steadily made par to be crowned the champion.

NEW CITY, N.Y. (July 16, 2015) –James McHugh of Rye, N.Y., claimed his first career MGA title on Thursday afternoon at the 98^th Met Junior Sponsored by MetLife after defeating James Nicholas in the championship match at Paramount.

NEW CITY, N.Y. (July 14, 2015) – The match play portion of the 98^th Met Junior Sponsored by MetLife is now set, following 36 holes of stroke play at Paramount by the area’s best junior players. The field of 67 was trimmed down to 16, led by medalist Brent Ito and his 3-over 143 total.

NEW CITY, N.Y. (July 14, 2015) – The morning round of the 98^th Met Junior Sponsored by MetLife is complete at Paramount. The A.W. Tillinghast course proved to be a stern test to the field of 67 competitors, as Brent Ito of Ardsley, N.Y., leads the field with a 1-over 71. Following the 36 holes of stroke play, the top 16 players will advance to match play for the final two days of competition.
