ELMSFORD, N.Y. (April 16, 2012) - It didn't take long for reigning MGA Jerry Courville Sr. Player of the Year Mike Miller to find his 2011 form in 2012. The same can be said for the younger but equally talented Jim Liu, of Smithtown, N.Y. Both Met Area amateurs finished tied for second at the prestigious Terra Cotta Invitational, held on April 13-15 at Naples National Golf Club in Naples, Fla.  

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (April 10, 2012) – Former longtime Wykagyl and Westchester Country Club professional Bob Watson was honored with the distinguished Sam Snead Award and Tom Henderson, PGA Head Professional at Round Hill Country Club, was recognized as the Professional of the Year at the Met PGA’s 50th Annual Educational Forum.  The event took place on April 10th at the Westchester Broadway Theatre.

PURCHASE, N.Y. (March 27, 2012) - The Rules of Golf are updated regularly, but extra attention is always paid to the quadrennial changes, which follow numerous meetings between the USGA and the R&A. Significant changes to the 2012-15 Rules of Golf were the main focus of participants at a lively and well-attended MGA/Met PGA Rules Workshop on Tuesday, March 27 at Brae Burn Country Club.
