The 97th MGA Senior Amateur Championship takes place May 8-9 at GlenArbor in Bedford Hills, N.Y.

A trio of past Met Open champions earned a spot at Valhalla for the PGA Championship following top finishes in the PGA Professional Championship.

The MGA will conduct five local qualifying rounds for the U.S. Open between April 29 and May 13.

Russell Aide of Black Bear Ridge, Canada, and Cassandra Sengul of Manassas, Virginia, punched their tickets to the championship at Sand Creek Station in Kansas. 

The MGA Foundation hosted a clinic for members of the GiGi's Playhouse community to introduce them to the game of golf on Thursday evening at GOLFZON Social in Scarsdale, N.Y.
