ELMSFORD, N.Y. (Updated November 1, 2012) - Golf courses around the Met Area felt Hurricane Sandy's force on Monday and early Tuesday morning. Several clubs were severely damaged by major flooding and downed trees.

Tyler Hall of Scottsdale, Ariz., the 2011 Met Open champion, finished T27 at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif. The top 18 players, plus ties, qualified to play in the Second Stage.
