Tour Update: Locals Continue on PGA, LPGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours
CHRISTCHURCH, NEW ZEALAND (February 27, 2005) – Met Area local Jim McGovern of Hackensack, NJ finsihed tied for 38th this week at the New Zealand PGA Championship. Chirs Nallen of Hacketstown, NJ failed to make the cut after a tough second round 75.
Matt Davidson of West Windsor, NJ, is still looking to catch his stride on Tour after earning his card in Q-school in Decenmber. Davidson missed the cut this week at the Chrysler Classic of Tuscon. J.J. Henry, formerly of The Patterson Club in Fairfield, CT, was off this week but looks to continue his solid play at the Ford Championship of Doral in Miami, FL.
Jim Albus, former Piping Rock head professional and Champions Tour player, missed the cut at the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am in Lutx, FL.
