ELMSFORD, N.Y. (October 14, 2013) — The 2013 Met Area golf season is just about over and the Nov. 1 handicap eRevision will be the last official “active-season” revision for the year. It is important to know that scores made in the Met Area after Oct. 31 should not be posted and will not be accepted for handicap purposes. MGA handicapping will begin its inactive season from Nov. 1 to March 31, 2014. The first day for posting scores for 2014 will be April 1.

Please note that any rounds played during the winter in areas that observe an active season (i.e. Florida, Arizona) are acceptable to be posted and must be posted for handicap purposes. The MGA will run inactive season revisions once per month during December, January, February and March to update the indexes of those members playing at and posting scores from out-of-area courses.
