ELMSFORD, N.Y. (February 17, 2010) – The MGA, along with hundreds of others representing the golf industry, will be at the Greater New Jersey Golf Show, the Lower Hudson Golf Show and the Long Island Golf Expo. Met area golfers will have the opportunity to visit travel booths as well as participate in numerous equipment and instruction activities sponsored by local businesses. The MGA will also conduct several Educational Seminars at each of the shows.

 

GREATER NEW JERSEY GOLF SHOW

The Greater New Jersey Golf Show will take place Friday-Sunday, February 26-28 at the Garden State Exhibition Center in Somerset, N.J. Exhibitors from across the northeast will be on hand with everything from equipment and apparel to golf tourism and fitness instruction. In addition the MGA will conduct several educational seminars each day of the show.

Show hours are from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, February 26; 10 a.m. –6 p.m. on Saturday, February 27; and 10 a.m. –5 p.m. on Sunday, February 28. For more information visit their Web site.

 

LOWER HUDSON VALLEY GOLF SHOW

The Westchester County Center in White Plains, N.Y., is the place to be March 13 and 14 for the 6th Annual Lower Hudson Golf Show. Instruction is a major aspect of the Lower Hudson Golf Show with PGA Professionals providing hourly instruction segments, free 10 minute lessons on the full swing, chipping and putting. In addition the MGA is sponsoring a Demo Stage that will include several educational seminars each day of the show. MGA Demo Stage Schedule

 

Exhibitors range from businesses involved in golf fitness and apparel to golf travel and resorts. A fully stocked discount Pro Shop will offer Golf Show specials on equipment and apparel. Patrons can demo the new 2010 equipment from major manufactures including Titleist/Cobra, Nike, Mizuno, Cleveland Golf/Srixon, Bridgestone and others.

 

Show hours are 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and the admission fee of $9.00 includes a free bucket of balls at Fairview Golf Center, a $7.00 value. LONG ISLAND GOLF EXPO

The 2010 Long Island Golf Expo is open to the public and offers everything for the beginner to advanced golfer. Over 200 exhibits will include seminars by PGA Professionals, demonstration range, long drive contests and a putting contest. There will be equipment and instruction demonstrations by local PGA Professionals as well as educational seminars conducted by the MGA.
