Elmsford, N.Y. (February 23, 2026) – The Westchester Golf Association’s historic Open and Amateur championships headline its slate of events for the 2026 season. Registration will open on March 2 at 10 a.m., taking place on Golf Genius.

Once again kicking off the championship season is the 104th Westchester Open Championship Presented by Poland Spring. Connecticut Golf Club will host the championship June 15-16. The club designed by Geoffrey Cornish is hosting the championship for the first time, having most recently hosted the 2024 Westchester Boys’ and Junior championships.
The 107th Westchester Amateur Championship, along with the coinciding Senior and Super Senior Amateur championships will be held at Ardsley Country Club from July 6-8. Ardsley Country Club is hosting the championship for the fourth time in the club’s history, previously hosting in 1921, 1987 and most recently in 2016 when Josh Goldenberg won the championship. The Amateur bracket starts in the Round of 32, Seniors in the Round of 16, and Super Seniors in a Round of 8 through respective qualifying rounds prior to the championship proper.
Members of WGA clubs and courses may also compete for WGA division titles in the Metropolitan Golf Association’s Father & Son Championship taking place August 3 at Engineers Country Club on Long Island, along with the Parent-Child Championship on July 20 at Glen Ridge Country Club in New Jersey, and the Mixed Pinehurst Championship on July 27 at Knollwood Country Club.
The fall swing of the season features the 6th Westchester Senior Open Championship Presented by Lexus, which heads back to The Saint Andrew’s Golf Club for the second time, having previously hosted in 2023 when Bobby Heins won the title.
The 17th Westchester Mid-Amateur Championship closes out the season at Leewood Golf Club, October 28-29. This is Leewood’s first time hosting the Mid-Amateur Championship.
Details for championship qualifiers will be released shortly, and championship registration will open on March 2, once again taking place through Golf Genius.
