DEAL, N.J. (August 4, 2012)– It was nearly impossible to knock off Matt Mattare of Bethpage or Ryan McCormick of Suburban during their semifinal matches in the 110th Met Amateur Championship at Hollywood Golf Club.

DEAL, N.J. (August 3, 2012)– Hollywood couldn’t have drafted a better script than they did for the 110th Met Amateur Championship. The storied New Jersey golf club will host four accomplished Met Area players in two semifinals matches on Saturday beginning at 12:30 p.m.

DEAL, N.J. (August 2, 2012)– Hollywood Golf Club brought out all the amateur stars and even created some new ones during 36-hole stroke play qualifying at the 110th Met Amateur Championship on Thursday. Familiar Met Area competitor Brian Komline of Black Oak took home medalist honors after putting on a brilliant performance, following an opening round 5-under 66 with a 68 for an 8-under-par 134 total.

DEAL, N.J. (August 2, 2012) - Several players took advantage of ideal scoring conditions during the morning round of the 110th Met Amateur at Hollywood Golf Club. But no one went lower than defending champ Mike Miller of Knollwood and NJSGA Amateur winner Ryan McCormick of Suburban, both of whom shot matching 6-under 65s.

SPRINGFIELD, N.J. (August 1, 2012)–  It’s a bit ironic that Jared Mactas’s first major win of his young career came at a golf club that is known for hosting major championships.

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (August 31, 2011) – Don Cervantes of Levittown, N.Y., is an MGA GOLFWORKS intern currently working at Garden City Country Club on Long Island. Last year was his first year in the program, and as a result of his experience, Cervantes discovered he had an interest in golf course maintenance and is pursuing a career as a golf course superintendent.
