The MGA Foundation announces the launch of a new college scholarship for young men and women who work in service to golf.
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (June 17, 2024) - Through the generosity of its member clubs, the MGA can host championships at some of the oldest and storied courses in the country. One of those clubs, Nassau Country Club, will be hosting a pair of championships in back-to-back weeks this year.
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (June 11, 2024) - The 76th MGA Public Links Championship will be held June 13 at Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern, N.Y. This year, the MGA is celebrating the 30th year of the MGA Foundation's GOLFWORKS program. The two events are connected through Spook Rock's golf course superintendent, Herman 'Trapper' Van Dunk.
The MGA Foundation’s cornerstone program, GOLFWORKS, celebrates 30 years of impact in 2024. For two former interns, brother and sister Tyler and Skye McCaine, their experience working during their high school years set them up for success in college and now in their professional careers in Manhattan.
Friar’s Head hosted the 2023 Met Amateur and has been a supporter and benefactor of the MGA Foundation's GOLFWORKS program since 2012.

ELMSFORD, NY (September 12, 2023) - The bond that siblings share is unique. Working with your siblings enhances that bond with the shared experiences of sharing a workplace. At Mountain Ridge Country Club, brothers Jensen and Jeyden Vizcaino have shared those experiences through the GOLFWORKS program over the years.
Centennial has been part of the GOLFWORKS program since 2011 and has helped interns gain valuable work and life expereicnes.
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 15, 2022) – Kateryna Poltoratska, or Kate, first came to the United States when she was in high school. As part of her school curriculum, she studied for a year in the U.S., while living with a host family. Currently Kate is studying at Berea College, a small Liberal Arts college in Berea, Ky., that offers full tuition scholarships to all its students. Poltoratska recently finished a summer internship in the GOLFWORKS program at Hollywood Golf Club.
WEST ORANGE, NJ (June 24, 2022) -- When you ask most people how they were introduced to the sport of golf, they may mention going to the driving range as a kid, hitting balls in their backyard, or watching Tiger Woods on TV. Another way that many have been introduced is through caddieing. For Ryan Mack, the Director of Outside Operations at Essex County Country Club in West Orange, N.J., that’s exactly how it happened.
