YOC member Eamon Cormican recently shared his experience as part of the program and what he's learned from the game of golf with the MGAF.

Eamon just recently joined the Youth on Course program, completing his first full year as a member a few months ago. He learned about the program through his dad and immediately decided to join because he wanted to practice as much as possible.

Ian has achondroplasia, a condition that impairs the growth of bone in the limbs and causes abnormal growth in the spine and skull. Standing at four feet three inches, Ian has been underestimated his whole life, but instead of letting that get him down Ian chooses the alternative route.

For The Love Of The Game: GOLFWORKS Q&A With Brittany Ferrante

SANDS POINT, N.Y. (March 11, 2022) -- This past summer, the MGA Foundation's cornerstone program, GOLFWORKS, returned to Met Area clubs. In total, 147 GOLFWORKS interns worked at 39 clubs during the summer months, gaining valuable work, golf, and life experiences. In addition to the 147 interns participating in MGA programming, 18 former interns were hired directly by clubs, showcasing the relationships forged between intern and club during the GOLFWORKS program.
