NORTH SALEM, N.Y. (June 28, 2016) – Joseph Eaton and Graham Ian Linn of Thistle Golf Club teamed up Tuesday to win the Net Division of the MGA/MetLife Men’s Four-Ball Championship at Salem Golf Club in North Salem, N.Y.
They would go on to lead the field of 41 two-man teams and finish with a score of 10-under 62 to take home the title. Don and Zach Zweibon of Salem finished second with an 8-under 64.

WEST ORANGE, N.J. (June 27, 2016) – Tyler Cline of The Tuxedo Club opened play at the 61st Ike Championship in record fashion, firing an opening round of 6-under 65 during the morning at Essex County Country Club. His bogey-free round matched the low score in the history of the championship and was just the third 65 to be carded in the first round.
UPDATE (June 29, 2016) - With a four-day total of 10-under par 278, Tam O'Shanter head professional Mark Brown finished tied for second at this week's PGA Professional Championship (PPC) at Turning Stone Resort in Verona, N.Y., leading five Met Area professionals to qualify for the PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club, July 28-31.

(June 20, 2016) – An outstanding field of 146 competitors is set to take on Essex County Country Club in West Orange, N.J., June 27-28, for the MGA’s first major of the season, the 61st Ike Championship. The event, founded in 1953 and acquired by the MGA in 1986, stands as the area’s premier stroke-play amateur event and crowns a champion over 54 holes.
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (June 14, 2016) – Qualifying for the 69th MGA Public Links Championship concluded today at Bethpage State Park Golf Course (Blue) in Farmingdale, N.Y. A total of 18 players qualified for the championship, which will be played at Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern, N.Y., on July 7.
