ELMSFORD, N.Y. (April 30, 2025) — The 103rd Westchester Open Championship Presented by Poland Spring will take place June 9-10 at The Tuxedo Club in Tuxedo Park N.Y. While the top competitors from last year’s event are exempt into the championship, the remainder of the field will be filled though a pair of qualifiers. This will be the clubs third time hosting the championship.

April 30 – Rockland Country Club, Rockland N.Y.
On a sunny yet blustery day at Rockland Country Club, a round of 79 proved good enough to earn a spot at Tuxedo. Leading the field in challenging conditions were amateur Al Tenembaum of Manhattan Woods and Tyler Lanza of GlenArbor, who both carded an impressive 1-over-par 72. Tenembaum notched three birdies, while Lanza tallied four of his own. With the cutline set at 29 golfers and ties, a total of 38 players advanced as 13 competitors posted scores of 79. Among the qualifiers, a noteworthy 16 were amateurs.

My 20 – The Summit Club, Armonk N.Y.
On a sunny and windy day, the Summit Club was a great test for golfers hoping to punch their tickets to the championship. Jared Marschall of Sleepy Hollow CC took home medalist honors after carding a -1/70. His day was highlighted by three birdies and an eagle on the par 5 ninth hole. William Rich of Sleepy Hollow CC, Douglas Beney of Westchester CC, and Ryan Rodriguez of Otterkill G & CC all tied for low amateur of the qualifier finishing one shot behind our medalist after shooting an even-par 71. 35 golfers punched their tickets to the championship shooting 76 or better. Amateur golf is going to be represented well at the championship with 17 amateur golfers advancing.
