ELMSFORD, N.Y. (June 8, 2011)–The entry deadline for the 94th Met Junior Championship, as well as the 43rd MGA/MetLife Boys Championship has been extended. All entries must be in by Thursday, June 9 at 5 p.m.

 Qualifying rounds for both the Met Junior and MGA/MetLife Boys are set for the following sites:

• Monday, June 20 at Garrison Golf Club in Garrison, N.Y. 
• Thursday, June 23 at Quaker Hill Country Club in Pawling, N.Y. 
• Wednesday, June 29 at Bergen Point Golf Course in West Babylon, N.Y.
• Thursday, June 30 at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, N.J.

The Met Junior is scheduled for July 12-14 at Fairmount Country Club in Chatham, N.J., and the MGA/MetLife Boys Championship will be held August 11 & 12 at Rumson Country Club in Rumson, N.J. The Met Junior is open to male amateur golfers who have not started attending college, and are not yet 19 by August 3, 2011. The MGA/MetLife Boys Championship is limited to those not yet 16 on August 11, 2011, and must be members of an MGA Member Club.  Male golfers under the age of 16 may compete in both the MGA/MetLife Boys and Met Junior Championships.  To enter either of these events, click here.
