UPDATE - STREAMSONG, Fla. (May 24, 2016) - Hana Ku of Basking Ridge, N.J., and teammate Jordan Lippetz of Oakland, Calif., battled back from one 2-down deficit against U.S. Women's Four-Ball Championship medalists Pauline Del Rosario and Princess Mary Superal of Philippines, but couldn't rally a second time, ending their run in the championship upon Streamsong Resort's Blue Course.

Two consecutive birdies from Ku and Lippetz on Nos. 7 and 8 squared the Round of 16 match, but Rosario and Superal rallied after making the turn by carding two birdies and taking a second 2-up advantage. The duo claimed the par-4 15th with a par to take a 3-up advantage and lie dormie. A birdie from the Ku/Lippetz tandem on the par-3 16th kept the match going, but birdies on the par-5 17th halved the hole and closed the match 2&1 in favor of Rosario and Superal.

UPDATE - STREAMSONG, Fla. (May 23, 2016) - Despite being 2-down on several occasions, Hana Ku of Basking Ridge, N.J., and teammate Jordan Lippetz of Oakland, Calif., fought back and claimed victory in 19 holes in their Round of 32 match at the U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship, being played at Streamsong Resort's Blue Course.

Their opponents, Kaitlin Milligan of Norman, Okla., and Sydney Youngblood of Oklahoma City, Okla., took a 2-up advantage after birdies on Nos. 2 and 3, but a pair of 2s on the scorecard on hole Nos. 6 and 7 (one an eagle, one a birdie), returned the match to all square. Milligan and Youngblood once again took a 2-up lead with a birdie on the par-5 9th and a par on the par-4 11th. After halving the next two, Ku and Lippetz reeled off two straight birdies to pull the match back to all-square. Three straight halves—one a birdie on the par-5 17th—forced extra holes, in which Ku and Lippetz scored a birdie and took their first advantage of the day for the win in 19 holes.

The Princeton teammates now advance to Tuesday's Round of 16, where they will square off with stroke play medalists Pauline Del Rosario and Princess Mary Superal, both of the Philippines. The duo carded a pair of 66s in stroke play and won their Round of 32 match on Monday by a 3&2 margin.

STREAMSONG, Fla. (May 23, 2016) - Basking Ridge, N.J., native Hana Ku and her Princeton teammate Jordan Lippetz of Oakland, Calif., successfully advanced to the match play portion of the U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship as stroke play concluded at Streamsong Resort's Blue Course Sunday evening. The duo received the No. 17 seed and began their Round of 32 match on Monday morning.

Ku—a past WMGA/MGA Women's Met Amateur and WMGA/MGA Women's Public Links champion—and Lippetz opened stroke play with an even-par 72, keeping sights on a top-32 position needed to advance to match play. The Tiger tandem then matched the third-best score during Sunday's final round of stroke play, carding a 4-under 68 to jump up the leaderboard. After opening with a bogey on the first, Ku and Lippetz tallied five birdies the rest of the way—including three in a four-hole stretch on the back nine.

Coming up short in advancing to match play was Alyssa Roland of New York, N.Y., and her partner Callie Kemmer of Washington, D.C., former teammates at Yale. The pair recorded two rounds of 2-over 74.

The Round of 32 takes place Monday. The Round of 16 and Quarterfinals follow on Tuesday, while the championship concludes Wednesday with the Semifinals and Championship match.
