Hempstead, N.Y.- Deepdale’s Darrell Kestner and Hyatt Hills’ (NJ) Gary Ostrega each qualified for the U.S. Senior Open , which will be held at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, MO. July 29 -August 1.

Kestner fired a five-under-par 67 at Hempstead Golf & CC on June 29th to earn one of the five qualifying spots, adding to his impressive list of major championships that he has played in. Kevin Morris of Westchester Hills came in with a 68 (34-34) to earn first alternate.

Ostrega shot 69 (34-35) at Essex Fells Country Club with Crestmont’s Pete Famiano first alternate after a 71 (36-35).
