ELMSFORD, N.Y. (May 23, 2019) - The Metropolitan Golf Association Foundation is proud to collaborate with the Gregory Boff Charitable Foundation in New Jersey to recognize and fulfill charitable opportunities for the next generation of golf.
Through the collaboration between the two foundations, proceeds from the annual Gregory A. Boff Invitational Tournament—this year taking place on Monday, July 15 at Mountain Ridge Country Club—have supported organizations focused on youth development and junior golf in New Jersey.
The St. Benedict's Preparatory School’s varsity golf team has served as a beneficiary in 2018 and 2019. The support has been critical to the revitalization of the program at the Newark, N.J., school that is nationally recognized for its excellent civic, academic, and athletic programs. Funds have also helped develop a co-educational middle school golf instruction program, which has provided many students with their first connection with the game of golf.
The MGA Foundation is pleased to work alongside the Boff Charitable Foundation in identifying worthy charitable opportunities, remaining mission-minded to offer young people from local communities life changing experiences through golf.
