ELMSFORD, N.Y. (UPDATE - March 1, 2019) – Registration for 2019 MGA, LIGA, and WGA championships is now open through USGA Tournament Management powered by Golf Genius. Players will have to register on the platform and create a profile in order to sign up for events. The platform – used for a number of events in 2019 – provides each championship with its own portal featuring championship information, mobile-friendly leaderboards, live scoring, and more.

The Met Area's 2019 schedules provide Met Area competitors with a variety of playing opportunities at the finest venues in the Met Area.
Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, N.J., Hudson National Golf Club in Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., and Piping Rock Club in Locust Valley, N.Y., gather in the spotlight in 2019 as hosts of the MGA’s major championships – the Ike, Met Amateur and Met Open. The season opens May 6-7 with the 92nd MGA Senior Amateur Championship at Montclair Golf Club in West Orange, N.J., and runs through October 23, concluding with the 15th Governor Hugh L. Carey Challenge Cup at Arcola Country Club in Paramus, N.J.
On Long Island, players the region's top players will head to Hempstead Golf & Country Club in Hempstead, N.Y., and Brookville Country Club in Glen Head, N.Y., for the 95th Long Island Open Championship and 96th Long Island Amateur Championship Presented by Sterling National Bank, respectively.
Meanwhile, golfers in Westchester have the opportunity to play a part in history by competing in the 100th Westchester Amateur Championship at Winged Foot Golf Club, host of the 2020 U.S. Open. Additionally, the 97th Westchester Open Presented by Callaway will take place at Country Club of Darien.
