Qualifying Concludes for 63rd Ike MGA Stroke Play Championship Presented by Callaway
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (April 5, 2018) -- The 63rd Ike MGA Stroke Play Championship Presented by Callaway has provided its share of excitement over the last several years, as Cameron Young of Sleepy Hollow won behind a final round 66 at Friar's Head in 2015 and held off Peter Kim of Royce Brook in a playoff at Essex County in 2016. Last year, Matt Lowe of Colonial Springs fired a course and Ike Championship-record 61 in the final round at Century Country Club. Lowe's incredible 10-under round was seven shots better than the next-best score in the final round, turning a six-shot deficit into a five-shot victory.

This year, the drama will unfold June 25-26 at Meadow Brook Country Club in Jericho, N.Y., one of 16 clubs that have hosted all three of the MGA's majors. The club will show off its fantastic Brian Silva renovation, which includes new tees, rebuilt bunkers and softened doglegs and was completed in early 2017. The club last welcomed the Ike in 2003.
