GREENWICH, CONN. (July 17, 2013) - Headed into the quarterfinals of the 96th Met Junior Championship Sponsored by MetLife, Cameron Young of Scarborough, N.Y., has yet to play the 14th hole as he won his third match in a row 7 & 5, defeating Paolo Matti of Union, N.J., in the Round of 16. “I’ve been in a position to hit pretty much every green without much trouble, which has led to a lot of birdie opportunities,” he said.  Young plans on using his same strategy of hitting irons off the tees in his quarterfinal round against Ethan Wall of Brielle, N.J. Wall edged out James Nicholas of Scarsdale, N.Y., beating him 1-up in the Round of 16.
