Tour Update: Met Locals Shine
Elmsford, N.Y. (March 11, 2005) - Although the Nationwide Tour was off this week, Met Area locals Johnson Wagner (left) of Garrison, NJ and Hackensack, NJ’s Jim McGovern are proving they belong there in a big way. In three events in 2005, Wagner and McGovern find themselves 10th and 11th on the money list respectively. Wagner has earned $41,695 to date, with McGovern close behind with earnings of $37,310. Chris Nallen of Hackettstown, NJ has earned $5,805 and is 72nd on the money list.
In other Tour news, Katie Allison of Mahwah, NJ and Matt Davidson of West Windsor, NJ have yet to make their marks on the LPGA and PGA Tours. Meanwhile, J.J Henry, formerly of The Patterson Club in Fairfield, CT, failed to make the cut at the Ford Championship at Doral, but has earned $66,025 to date.
