ELMSFORD, N.Y. (May 1, 2007) - The MGA is pleased to announce the 2007 MGA Play Day schedule. Play Days, an MGA service started in 2005, are one-day events that offer men and women golfers of all ages and abilities the opportunity to play some of the finer courses in the Metropolitan area.

As a way to expand opportunity for its members, the MGA has shifted the Play Days to the summer and fall seasons with nine events spread throughout the Met Area. The impressive line-up of host clubs include Centennial Golf Club in Carmel, N.Y., the Links at Shirley in Shirley, N.Y., and Wild Turkey Golf Club in Hamburg, N.J. A complete schedule is available below as well as on the MGA Web site (www.mgagolf.org). Other sites include Hudson Hills Golf Course, site of the 2006 WMGA/MGA Women’s Public Links Championship, and Patriot Hills Golf Club, site of the 2006 MGA/MetLife Men’s Net Team Championship.

The first MGA Play Day will take place at High Bridge Hills GC in High Bridge, N.J., on Wednesday, July 11th. The entry fee for all of the Play Days is $80.00 and covers 18 holes of golf, range balls (where available), golf cart, food, and prizes for net and gross finishes. All players must enter online at www.mgagolf.org and must be a member of an MGA Member Club.
