J.J. Henry Hosts Fundraiser at First Tee of Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (June 8, 2007) - PGA Tour star and Connecticut native, J.J. Henry, formerly of The Patterson Club, hosted a new fundraising event on Tuesday, June 26 at The First Tee facility at Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course in Bridgeport, Conn. “Breakfast with J.J.”, which was conducted to help mark the 75th Anniversary of Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course, included a breakfast with the 2006 PGA Tour winner and Ryder Cup team member followed by an instructional clinic for local youth who participate in First Tee programming.
The cost for the day was $100 per person or $1,000 per table. The funds raised by the event will support the growing Bridgeport First Tee facility, which is jointly operated by the MGA Foundation, the Met PGA and The First Tee of Connecticut, and which impacts thousands of kids throughout Fairfield County.
