Giuliani's Run Ends at Big Break
ORLANDO, Fla. (December 2, 2009) – Andrew Giuliani’s stretch of success came to an end at The Big Break: Disney. Giuliani advanced through the seven weeks of the competition, earning $10,000 in prize money from various challenges, but lost in the elimination challenge during week eight. He was one of five remaining contestants on the show.
Andreas Huber, of New York, N.Y., was eliminated in the second week of the show.
The show, which premiered October 13, began with 12 professionals with aspirations to make it on the PGA Tour. Every week, a player is eliminated until there is a single winner. This season’s winner gets an exemption into the 2010 PGA Tour’s Children’s Miracle Network Classic, all entry fees for 2010 PGA Tour Q-School are paid by the PGA Tour, a $10,000 gift certificate to Dick’s Sporting Goods, an endorsement contract by Adams Golf, including $10,000 cash, and free golf for a year.
