The Met Golfer Wins Six Awards for Editorial Excellenc

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (January 29, 2010)   For the second consecutive year, The Met Golfer was honored by the International Network of Golf (ING) with multiple awards for editorial excellence. At the ING’s 17th Media Awards, presented on January 28th at the PGA merchandise Show in Orlando, two articles won first place: James A. Frank’s “Golfers-in-Chief”(February/March 2009) and Scott Kramer’s Apparel article “Happy Feet” (June/July 2009).

Four additional articles were recognized as Outstanding Achievers in different  categories: MGA Executive Director Jay Mottola’s Business piece “What’s Next?” (December

2008/January 2009); David Barrett’s Competition article “In Good Measure” (June/July 2009); Brian McCallen’s Travel piece “Northern Lights” (June/July 2009); and Associate

Editor Billy Condon’s Profile story “Top Dog” (August/September 2009).
