Past MGA Champs Ready For Final Stage of Q-School
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 27, 2012) - Three former MGA champions will look to either improve on their PGA Tour status or join the world's best when the Final Stage of Q-School begins on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at PGA West in LaQuinta, Calif.

2005 Carter Cup winner Morgan Hoffmann and 2003 Met Open/2004 Met Amateur champ Andrew Svoboda, both of whom recently earned their Tour cards by finishing in the top 25 on the Web.com money list, are seeking to improve their status for the 2013 season. They'll tee it up among a field of 174 accomplished players and rising stars on both the TPC Stadium and Nicklaus Tournament Courses.
The format is 108 holes of stroke play (no cut). The top 25 finishers will all earn their PGA Tour cards for the 2013 season. The next 50 finishers will earn Web.com Tour status.
Also in the field is 2004 MGA/MetLife Boys champion Sunny Kim of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Kim, who grew up in Queens and turned pro as a teenager, finished T7 at the Second Stage qualifier in Plantation, Fla. Kim is also the current money leader on the GOLFslinger Tour with over $53,000 in earnings.
