Summas Win MGA Father & Son Pro Division
August 7, 2012 (Update: 2:30 P.M.)– The morning wave of the 23rd Father & Son Net Championship has completed play and, as expected, the scores are low and competition is at a very high level. The team of Paul and Vincent Adimando is currently leading the tournament after shooting a net score of 7-under 65.
Also completed as of this afternoon is the inaugural professional division of the Father & Son Championship. Mike and Joe Summa of Stanwich fired a net 65, which was good enough to beat the 65 from hometown favorites Bob and Mike Miller of Knollwood in a match of cards (the Summas had a lower back-nine score).
Competition is still underway in the amateur division of the Father & Son Net Championship and scores will be posted as they come in. The action can be followed by clicking here.
