The duo came out strong with an impressive six net-birdies on the first nine. Their success didn’t end there, however, as they went on to card five more net-birdies and a net eagle on their final nine. Their key to success: their short game.

“Our putting was great, we did not miss any putts, that was the key,” said Alex.

Additionally, Alex is familiar with the course, helping aid their win.

“She knows the course, so I think that was an advantage for us,” said Anthony, “She knew where to come in from and where to land it which helped out a lot.”

After a great day of family time, winning was a full circle moment for the father-daughter pair.

“I think it was a good win, especially because my dad is the one who actually taught me the game, so it was good to actually put it into action,” Alex explained.

Suzanne and Tyler Glynn carded a net score of 4-under 67, while Jack and John McGroarty, Peter Rubeo Jr. and Sr. and Robert and Sam Raskin finished with 3-under 68 to complete the top five net-scores.
