“We had a huge contingent of my team at GlenArbor, my family, members, members from my other clubs that I've been at, friends," said Labritz after his finish. "I mean, it was amazing. Then we made some new friends here this week at Saucon Valley, which is really, really cool. It's so cool how the crowd got behind me. I can't wipe the smile off my face. I'm trying, I'm trying, but I can't do it, and I'm blessed.”
Labritz, who achieved his long-term goal of competing on the PGA TOUR Champions after medaling in December's Q-School tournament, enjoyed every moment of the week, which included playing with Rocco Mediate on Saturday and two-time U.S. Open champion Ernie Els on Sunday.
The GlenArbor director of golf had entered the week No. 48 in the Charles Schwab Cup rank thanks to a previous top-five finish and three top-25 finishes in 11 PGA TOUR Champions starts.

The 51-year old carded birdies on Nos. 15 and 16 to reach his 6-under total and is the lone player in the field to post a trio of rounds in the 60s. After playing with Rocco Mediate on Saturday, Labritz will play in the penultimate pairing on Sunday alongside two-time U.S. Open champion Ernie Els.
“I'm not worried about it,” said Labritz of entering the final round six back. “I'm going to go out there and play my game, shoot under par, and wherever the chips fall, they fall. There are guys out here that have been doing this for 30 years. If they play better than me, so be it. I'm learning. I'm getting better. I'm improving. I feel like I'm so close.”
