It was Ganne's third appearance in the championship and first trip to the final round at the famed venue. Facing a challenging day that included a more than three-hour suspension of play due to weather, Ganne tallied four bogeys on the day, but also had two birdies. Ganne's birdies came on the par-3 fourth and par-5 eighth. She finished strongly as well, making four consecutive pars to close out her round and finish the championship at 1-over par.

"It was better than I imagined and hoped and knew it was going to be," said Ganne of her first competitive round at Augusta National. "It was honestly a little emotional throughout the whole day because it was just so fun."

Ganne has made it a habit of being around Augusta National in the spring, having advanced to the National Final of Drive, Chip & Putt four times and having now competed in the Augusta National Women's Amateur three times.

After finishing the round, Ganne stuck around to watch her Standford University teammate Rose Zhang claim the title in a playoff, as she made par on the par-4 10th--the second playoff hole--to win.
