ELMSFORD, N.Y. (October 7, 2014) – The MGA and MGA Foundation are set to host the annual Presidents Council Fall Conference on Tuesday, October 14 at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, N.Y.
The Presidents Council, which is part of the MGA Foundation's series of educational programs, is a seminar meant to give club leaders valuable information about industry trends and issues affecting golf clubs. Each year, a panel of distinguished experts are invited to attend and present their ideas to the full group.
This year’s seminar presentations will feature:

Kurt D. Kuebler, CCM (Partner, Kopplin & Kuebler) will focus on Board Dynamics and Model Club best practices for clubs. Kuebler will outline industry trends, best practices, and the ‘new normal’ of club board members and staff expectations, based on observations from more than 200 annual club visits by Kopplin & Kuebler.
Is the Private Club Industry Enjoying a “Rise of the Phoenix” Experience?
Steve Graves (President, Creative Golf Marketing) will share emerging trends and best practices of the most successful private clubs. He will present specific membership growth and retention strategies that can be immediately implemented at your own club.
