ELMSFORD, N.Y. The Brooklake head professional has been nothing short of magnificent in recent years. In 2013 he claimed his second NJ State Open title and followed it up in 2014 with three more Met Area victories. The latest two victories on the national scene give him five total wins in 2014. This week's performance may have been the best yet for the 51-year-old and in perhaps one of the most pressure-packed tournaments of his career.
Also teeing it up this week was Craig Thomas of Metropolis, who finished tied for 12th with a four round total of 1-under 287. Charles Bolling of Glen Cove, N.Y. finished tied for 30th at 4-over. The top 30 finishers and ties are eligible to compete for spots in open qualifiers at all co-sponsored events on the Champions Tour in 2015.
