ELMSFORD, N.Y. UPDATED (August 6, 2013) - Sectional qualifying for one of the nation's most coveted regional events, the 98th Met Open Championship sponsored by MetLife, is now complete. There were a total of six sectional qualifiers for this year's Open,  conducted around the Met Area over the past two weeks.

The $150,000 purse will once again be on the line at this year's championship, which will be held at Old Westbury Golf & Country Club (Woods and Overlook) in Old Westbury, N.Y., from August 20-22. Old Westbury is well known for being one of Long Island's toughest courses and will challenge the field this year for the first time since 2005.
