“This award is a culmination of the hard work and talent displayed by the entire MGA staff and our publishing partners, led by Rick Summers and his team at Great Golf Resorts of the World,” Midland said. “It is a privilege to cover golf in the Met Area, and we will continue our commitment to provide MGA members with the most relevant stories on the people, places and events that make golf in this area second to none.”
The recognition from ING comes on the heels of the debut earlier this month of Met Golfer Extra, a digital publication featuring brief stories and compelling photography. While The Met Golfer is published five times per year, Met Golfer Extra will be distributed via e-mail each month, and is also accessible via the MGA website at www.mgagolf.org.
