Nanette Hill at LPGA Q-School
December 10, 2010– Westchester County native Nanette Hill, of Pelham Manor, N.Y., is competing in the final stage of LPGA Q-School this week. Hill, 23, is a former Wake Forest standout and Second Team All-American spent the 2010 season competing on the Duramed Futures Tour, the LPGA’s developmental circuit. She recorded a win at the City of Hammond Classic and finished 22nd overall on the Futures Tour money list.
After two rounds, Hill stands at 1-over-par and in a tie for 21st.
The final stage of LPGA qualifying runs from December 8-12, and the field of 120 hopefuls is cut to the low 70 plus ties after 72 holes. Last year, Hill finished 25th at Q-School, earning category 16 status for the Future Tour. The top 20 players earn full LPGA status for the 2011 season. For live scoring click here.
