ORLANDO, Fla. (November 4, 2009) – Andrew Giuliani continues to perform well at The Big Break: Disney. Giuliani advanced through the fourth week of the competition and is one of the eight remaining contestants on the show.
The show, which premiered October 13, began with 12 professionals with aspirations to make it on the PGA Tour. Every week, a player is eliminated until there is a single winner. This season’s winner gets an exemption into the 2010 PGA Tour’s Children’s Miracle Network Classic, all entry fees for 2010 PGA Tour Q-School are paid by the PGA Tour, a $10,000 gift certificate to Dick’s Sporting Goods, an endorsement contract by Adams Golf, including $10,000 cash, and free golf for a year.

Huber Eliminated at Big Break
ORLANDO, Fla. (October 21, 2009) – Andreas Huber was the second player eliminated at The Big Break: Disney. Huber, who left a job on Wall Street to pursue his dreams of becoming a professional golfer, failed to make it through the elimination challenge and his time on the show came to an end. He follows former U.S. Olympian Ed Moses, who was the first player eliminated.
Andrew Giuliani made it through to the third week as he looks to not only win the show, but have his chance to play in a PGA Tour event.

Giuliani, Huber Survive First Week of Big Break
ORLANDO, Fla. (October 15, 2009) – 2009 Met Open champion Andrew Giuliani and fellow Met Area professional Andreas Huber, both of New York City, made it through the first week of elimination on the Golf Channel’s The Big Break: Disney.
The show, which premiered October 13th, features 12 professionals with aspirations to make it on the PGA Tour. Every week, a player is eliminated until there is a single winner. This season’s winner gets an exemption into the 2010 PGA Tour’s Children’s Miracle Network Classic, all entry fees for 2010 PGA Tour Q-School are paid free of charge, a $10,000 gift certificate to Dick’s Sporting Goods, an endorsement contract by Adams Golf, including $10,000 cash, and free golf for a year.
The first player eliminated was former U.S. Olympian Ed Moses. The show was filmed this past summer and both Giuliani and Huber are preparing for PGA Tour Q-School later this month.
