Sean Leonard, of GC of South Jersey, led a group of nine qualifiers today at the Hudson Valley sectional qualifying round at Orange County Golf Club, in Middletown, NY, who qualified for the MGA’s 48^th “Ike” Stroke Play Championship presented by Canon USA.  Leonard shot an even par 72 (36-36) to earn a spot in the field of the MGA’s first major of the year.

The top nine finishers (+ties) from a field of 79 golfers qualified for the tournament, which will be held June 30th – July 1st at Meadow Brook Club in Jericho, NY. Today’s qualifier was the last of five to be held in the Met Area.
