MGA Adapative Program Conducts First Clinic with Inspire at Storm King Golf Club

CORNWALL, N.Y. (September 4, 2026) – The MGA Foundation’s Adaptive Golf Program took another step in expanding it’s footprint across the Met Area recently when it visited Storm King Golf Club for the first time. The Foundation teamed up with Inspire – Orange County Cerebral Palsy Association to put on an adaptive clinic that introduced participants to the game through a few learning stations.

Approximately 30 participants were divided into groups of three and rotated between a driving range, putting green, and arts and crafts zone. They received individual and group instruction from Adaptive Golf volunteers on the fundamentals of a golf swing, putting techniques, and more. At the end of the clinic, everyone gathered for lunch.

“The clinic at Storm King Golf Club was an incredible experience and a great example of what adaptive golf is all about,” said Ryan Kayton, Manager of the MGA Adaptive Golf Program. “I’m extremely thankful to the Storm King team for welcoming us and to Inspire for giving us the opportunity to introduce golf to such an amazing group of participants. Seeing everyone’s excitement, confidence, and willingness to try something new made the day truly special.”
