Kevin Roy carded a bogey-free 5-under 67 to lead the way while the trio of Max Greyserman, Benjamin James, and James Nicholas tallied matching 4-under 68s. Greyserman was bogey-free navigating Golf Club of Purchase, while James and Nicholas both had one square on their respective cards.

Amateur Samuel Foust of Edina, Minn., Michael Miller, and Dylan Newman all had the even-par rounds at Century.

Together, Century and Golf Club of Purchase are one of 10 sites that host final qualifying on Monday. Nine take place across the United States, plus one in Canada. Final qualifying has already taken place in England and Dallas, Texas on May 18 and in Japan on May 25. The number of qualifying spots for each qualifier is determined by the size and strength of the field.

Century and nearby Old Oaks Country Club traditionally host final qualifying on a three-year rotating basis with Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, N.J. This year, Golf Club of Purchase serves as Century’s co-host for the first time, stepping in as Old Oaks underwent renovations late last season after hosting the Met Amateur.

The two courses will present contrasting layouts, with Century being a classic parkland golf course designed by C.H. Alison and Harry Colt in 1926, while Purchase opened in 1996 and was designed by Jack Nicholas. The course carves through woodlands while also featuring wetlands, brooks, and stone outcroppings.
