Foppiano Captures MGA Senior Net Tournament

ELMSFORD, N.Y.–Andrew Foppiano, of Shoreview GC fired a net four-under par 66 to edge out Stephen Hennesey of Ridgewood CC (NJ) by two shots to win the 12th MGA Senior Net Tournament on a beautiful day at Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains, NY. Larry Hall, of Packanack GC, carded nines of 37-36 = 73 to capture the low gross honors.

The MGA Senior Net is open to all Metropolitan Golf Association club members aged 50 or older with a Handicap Index of 18.0 or lower. Honors were also awarded to the first and second place net finishers in the four age-classes. The net first place finisher and runner-up of the overall tournament were not eligible to win their respective age-classes.
