ELMSFORD, N.Y. (January 6, 2025) – The MGA Foundation will host eight caddie academies this April. Last year, 415 boys and girls attended the nine caddie academies around The Met Area.

Bonnie Briar Country Club, Fenway Golf Club, Hackensack Golf Club, Garden City Country Club, Rockaway Hunting Club, Rockland Country Club, The Seawane Club, and Wee Burn Country Club will host academies in 2025. Six of the eight clubs hosted academies last year.
All Caddie Academies are free of charge and will run from 4 to 6 p.m.
Upon completion of one of these Academies, attendees will earn a certificate of completion. Although not a prerequisite for caddieing, these Academies are an excellent introductory opportunity to learn more about becoming a caddie. Additional dates will be added in the coming months.
The first caddie academy is at Hackensack on April 8. Garden City follows on April 10. Two weeks later, Fenway hosts on April 21, Wee Burn follows on April 22, Bonnie Briar on April 23, and Seawane on April 24. Rockland hosts on April 28, and Rockaway Hunt closes the schedule on April 29.
