2017 Long Island Women's Amateur Stroke Play Champion Carly Peters holds the permanent Woodcrest Bowl

Carly Peters of Mill Pond GC won the 2017 Long Island Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship on the Red Course at Bethpage State Park on Wednesday, July 12 with a 36 hole total of 3 over par 153. Angela Tocco of Montauk Downs State Park and Brittany Ferrante of The First Tee @ Eisenhower Park (the Day One leader) tied for second, one shot behind. In the net competition in the Championship Flight, Yong Park of EWGA-Long Island won with a 7 under par 143.

In Flight One, Yung Ok Shin of the Fairway Women of Bethpage won the gross and Hee Jung Hong of the Bethpage Women's Golf Association won the net. In the Second Flight, Lucille Smith of Meroke Golf Association won the gross and Carol Dunn of Meroke Golf Association won the net.
